Memabooks is a personalized children's book platform that creates custom AI-generated storybooks. We are an Armenian registered business that ships to over 200 countries worldwide.

Section 2, Data Collection and Usage
We gather only essential information - or data you permit us to use - to customize, create and ship your storybook, maintain and protect our platform, analyze visitor behavior, and (with your permission) share promotional content.
Device and browsing data
Automatically captured during site navigation, including IP address, browser software, timezone, cookie codes, visited pages and clicked elements.
Purpose: Platform functionality, security measures, fraud detection and usage analysis (based on legitimate interest or required cookie authorization). Raw security records are kept only as needed for abuse investigation and system protection, then aggregated or removed.
Preview information and image uploads
When you create a preview, we temporarily store the child's name, age, story selections, and uploaded photos.
Purpose: To generate your personalized preview and book. Images and order data are automatically deleted after 48 hours if payment is not completed. For paid orders, data is retained for 1 year or until you request deletion.
If you actively work on your preview (for example, viewing, editing, or selecting images), we extend this period by an additional 24 hours after your last activity, so you have time to complete your payment. At your request, we can also disable automatic deletion entirely, so your preview stays available and you can order at any time.
Order and delivery information
When completing a purchase: full name, shipping address, email address, payment details (processed securely through our payment processor - we never store complete card numbers).
Purpose: Order fulfillment, shipping, customer service, and legal record-keeping (based on contractual necessity and legal requirements).
Marketing communications
If you order a book from us, we may email you about our other personalised books. To make these emails personal, we use details from your order, such as your child's first name. We never use your child's photos in marketing emails. If you create a book preview, we may also email you reminders about that preview.
Purpose: Telling you about books similar to the one you ordered (based on our legitimate interest and, in the UK and EU, the soft opt-in for existing customers). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

We detect the child's face in your photo only to place it into the illustrations. We do not use it to identify or verify anyone, do not compare it against any database, and do not create or keep facial templates. This is image editing, not biometric identification.

Printing and delivery services for shipping to over 200 countries worldwide (via UPS, USPS, DHL, Royal Mail, Aramex, and other international carriers).
